Corona virus does not leave Telangana state. So far, 404 cases have been reported across Telangana and 11 have died. Even after the Telangana government announced the lockdown to prevent it from spreading to the public, cases are still pending. The Telangana High Court has already taken a number of decisions in the case of lockdown and implemented them. Telangana High Court has taken a crucial decision. The High Court recently decided to continue the judicial lockdown in Telangana till April 14 and again made a crucial decision on lockdown.
While the nationwide lockdown is expected to end on the 14th of this month, some believe the lockdown may continue in view of growing cases. In this backdrop, the Telangana High Court has taken two crucial decisions. The High Court has decided to extend the lockdown of the courts till April 30. The High Court, which is already investigating emergency cases, has made this decision in view of the health care of those working in the legal system. Another major decision has been taken as the cases are pending.
Telangana courts have decided to cancel their summer vacation this year. The two key decisions were made after discussing the current situation with judges, bar leaders and medical professionals who met through a video conference on Tuesday. The high court, along with all the district courts in the state, will do so from May 1 to June 5 this year. As per the HC decision, the judicial authorities have been told to keep the lock down, stay home, but be available if necessary.
